Animal Acupuncture

Evidence of acupuncture for animals dates back thousands of years in ancient China and has many benefits. In addition to improviong quality of life by reducing or eliminating pain, it has also been shown to help with such emotional issues as fear, grief, anxiety, trauma and abandonment. It aid in healing from injury, surgery or joint replacement and has even been shown to benefit pets in end-stage disease processes such as cancer by making them more comfortable. Its widest use is in older pets who are becoming stiffer, more sore and generally less able to do the things they used to do.
